Boy oh boy these end time preachings
never cease do they? If it isn't Sherry Shriner selling orgone blasters then it's
Fred Phelps preaching condemnation, and repent or burn in hell fire because the last day is coming upon us, or it is John Hagee preaching that all Jews must rush over to Israel before it's too late and bla bla bla. or it is some Islamic preaching that the hidden Imam is about to appear
or some Jewish rabbi saying Gog and magog is upon the world and only they shall be spared if they rush to Israel before it's too late like John Hagee preaches. Then going back some years
there were countless numbers of end time prophesies from JW's and other religious and occult sources, soothsayings
and false prophesies being preached from churches, carnival side shows, fortune tellers booths to soothsayers parlors and necromancers calling or conjouring up the spirits of the departed,
then there was also the youthful crowd that played with the ouiga board like it was a game all to try to get a glimpse of the spiritual manifesting in the physical, It appears all these things are part of our human weakness before we knew there was more to life than what is in the physical realm and so thought all these things harmless. I too dabled in astrology in the 1950's and early 1960's then like a door closing behind me I lost all interest in the subject but the shadow remained for another 15 to 20 years after that.

Considering all of this I would say that end time prophets come a dime a dozen and since there are so many we can get a bakers dozen, 13 for the price of 12, some of these folks preach this stuff because they actualy believe it while others are religious/political huxters that preach it to squeeze all the money and control they can gain over others out of it, Al Gore is making a fortune by preaching global warming is going to be the end of the world if man doesn't change his activities that are causing it, exploiting the situation by having all the things we must do to offset it slowly but surely put into law which if we do these things we are manipulated into spending hard earned money to comply or if not face financial penalties, either way the system is going to squeeze every dime it can out of folks and then some., this is nothing new, the system of this world has always been so because God has set the most basest of men in power to rule over the Nations, these things are used to draw us to him the way I see it so we trust in him and not in the system of this world.
