Hey FW: I’m absolutely sure that what we see in the middle East is the result of adherence to ancient cultures and traditions, most of which based on texts written in their “holy books”. There can be no peace when cultures believe “god is on their side” or that they are “chosen” or privileged before God. The world enabled most of these conflicts in 1948 with the “State of Israel”. The militaristic support of Israel ensures the continuing conflict. We would have been much better off if we had not “helped god” fulfill an alleged end-time prophecy.
Oddly enough, our choices in 1948 appear to be carrying us toward another world war – yet another self fulfilling prophecy? This is the primary reason I run away from prophecy teachings. Down through history, I don’t see any positive results of these interpretations – No Good Fruit at all!
What a mess!
In His Love, John
