Came on here today and saw everything screwed up again. Seems they are now upgrading and changing at will. It was a mission last time to correct the smilies and it seems they are screwed up again.

The attendance here is minimal and very few new topics.

My opinion is that the forum has served its purpose and now with facebook etc. this seems to be the new trend for keeping comms open with friends made.

I particularly have no desire to keep this site going so if anyone wants it let me know.

I understand your points and agree with everything you have said. I know it is time consuming and a pain to keep up with these things and I really appreciate your time. As long as we have each others contact information, I’m ok with shutting the forum down.

However, I must admit that I do feel a sadness that I find hard to explain. It’s hard to find a place where one can openly and unabashedly discuss Heresies and not be an Atheist.

Frankly, feel stronger spiritually now than I have ever felt in my life and at least the tenets of my beliefs are free of Dogmas and Myths. Whether you know it or not, you have helped me along my Journey and for this, my brother, you have my gratitude and thanks!

can you give us a little time before you shut it down?
I'd like to maybe go through some of the old posts and maybe do some cutting and pasting into word files.

but it does make me feel real sad.

If it's free and we can communicate - it's cool. Even if everything doesn't work perfect. Don't blame ya' for not wanting to spend a bunch of time on it Bernie...

Yeah, same here! I defnitely don't care if it stayed like this.

I will not shut it down. I just will not be doing any major enhancements on smilies and other features so vanilla it is.

All mods have Admin rights so anyone can tweak the stuff once you find your way around.

All I can say Bernie is: That never have I been on a discussion forum where I felt as at home and free as I have been here, we can discuss anything from politics, religion and events freely in the world events board, we can discuss belief systems without taking sides to denominational religious dogma and doctrines of men, we can discuss our views on the bible and various translations at what period of time and what we see about translation errors without being persecuted for it, I have received many helpful points from other members here.

The members here when they don't always see things from the same view point as others have always been courtious enough not to build a wall baring futher discussion with those they disagree with and in being so find out through futher discussion that many times disagreements came from misundestanding the spirit with which another was speaking and it reality the disagreement is found out to be very minor.

You have done well and I enjoy the topics and gained much insight on various topics you have posted, you also have a great crew of moderators, I think much of each and everyone of the mods here.

At the same time yes you have put a lot of work into keeping the Forums open and it is appreciated by all of us and I can understand easily how one can get worn out keeping up with all the maintainence involved, so what I am saying to sum it up is: That I would greatly miss these forums and the spirit with which we the members have participated with each other here, there is not one place to go that could be any better than what we do have here.

May I suggest we may be that we can find a more simple, user friendly forum for us to go to since this one keeps getting changed.
