Jesus, speaking of how the people could not believe in Him said;

Matthew 13:14And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

John 12:39Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

40He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

41These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

Who is the He who blinds their eyes? Who is the Lord sitting on the throne Isaiah saw, as we know, Jesus said no man has seen God the Father at anytime?

Isaiah 6
1In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

4And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

5Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

6Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

7And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

8Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

9And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

10Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

Do you have a comprehensive answer?
This is the same Lord seen by Ezekiel, and the same Lord who sent a lying spirit to get Ahab killed.

Ezekiel 1:25And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.

26And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

27And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.

28As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake

2 Chronicles 18:18Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.

19And the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one spake saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner.

20Then there came out a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will entice him. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith?

21And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the Lord said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do even so.

22Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee.

1 Kings 22: 19And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

20And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.

21And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.

22And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

Who is this Lord?
Jesus said;

John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

John 5:37
And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

Here is another scripture asking a strange question of God. It is very relevant to the answer to the question entailed in this thread.

Psalm 94:20Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

21They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

22But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

23And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.

And the eyes of the "blind" shall "see" out of Obsurity.
When did the eyes of the blind ever see?
When God opens them.
When does He open them?
When He heals the blind man.
Who is the "blind" man.
Who is "blind" but my servant? Isa. 42
Remember the "blind man" that was "healed"?
What did Jesus say about this "blind" man?
Answer: JOHN 15 I think. "For judgement am I come, that the "blind" may "see"
and that those that SEE may be made "blind."
What?
What is Jesus doing here?
He is "executing judgement."
What kind of JUDGEMENT?
Judgement unto LIFE!!!
He hath given me commandment and I KNOW that's it's LIFE Everlasting!
How does "blinding" one give LIFE?
Because Jesus is good. He only "blinds" error! And opens eyes to Truth!

Remember Him saying after He had healed the "blind" man, "For
judgement am I come into this world, that "seeing" they made be
made "blind" and "blind" that they might see. I think He is
constantly doing this...........
That is Truth swallowing up lies. Compare to when He sent Isaiah to make "blind" those
He sent Isa. to, til a "tenth" was called the HOLY SEED would come that would be eaten as a tiel tree.
Remember the "blinding" sun seen by Saul whose "name" was turned to PAUL.
???
Wasn't he "blind" for 3 days? Had he not seen the sun for 3 days and had to be "blinded"
in order to see it? Somebody check the story in Acts. I think is 9th chapt. And then the
22 nd chapter will tell about Paul could not see for the glory of "that" LIGHT. Methinks
God "blinded" him to the first order to show him the True Light that is Eternal. The first
was over for Paul. But that does not mean it was over for the whole world! I don't think so.
The Bible is full of mysteries.
No wonder Jesus said, "I have many things to tell you, but you can't bear them now."
Thank you Lord that it's here a little, there a little, line on line, and precept on precept.

Obscurity.................................................................................

–noun, plural -ties.

1. the state or quality of being obscure.

2. the condition of being unknown: He lived in obscurity for years before winning acclaim.

3. uncertainty of meaning or expression; ambiguity.

4. an unknown or unimportant person or thing.

5. darkness; dimness; indistinctness.

Uh huh! I thought so..........."darkness."

That was a cute little post, but didn't address the question posed in the beginning of the thread.
A distraction.
Still, it remains, who is the he who blinds the people to the truth of God? We have the testimony of Jesus, and He said there is a he who makes them blind and deaf. Who spoke as God, preventing Israel's hearing and believeing the healing Truth of God our Father. Who appeared visibly to Moses, Isaiah, and Ezekiel? We know by the testimony of Jesus, that no man has seen God the Father, or heard His voice at any time. Who framed iniquity with a law? WHO?
This is the great mystery of Godliness.

Yeah, I realize that Peacetroll....I had just written that and saw
that this thread was talking about "blindness" so I put it here.

As far as WHO ............will let YOU answer that........ha ...........
but consider this: The "law" was added. And Abraham
was given LO A GREAT HORROR..........I think it said for HIS
SEED .........400 years.

Was just comparing that with something on that in Galations.

Well, was that "WHO" you talk about the bugger that done that?

ha

Ezekiel spoke of the same horror that passed before Abraham.

Ezekiel 7:17All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.

18They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.

19They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

That day of the Wrath of God is described this way in Revelation 12:12
Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

The horror Abraham felt talked to him. Abraham was terrorized.

Genesis 15:12And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

13And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

There is divided out of God, the Light and the Darkness. Jesus Christ is that Light. Who is that Darkness?

Who spoke out of the gross darkness to Moses? Giving the laws and the statutes, putting the stumbling block of their iniquity, guilty conscience, lack of confidence, between Israel and God?

Why would the scriptures say;
Zechariah 14:9
And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Or say:

Deuteronomy 32:31
For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

Does this Lord sound like our Lord Jesus Christ?

Exodus 34:6And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

7Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

This Lord had condemned the whole human race to death. He is a liar and the father of it. He is the wrath of God, the Darkness, and has no mercy at all.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Now, after all the scriptures posted in above posts, it is time to consider the series below.

Zechariah 13:7
Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

Who is it that turned his sword, the angel of death [called Baelzebub] upon Jesus? Would God the Father do this and persecute the apostles?

Matthew 26:31
Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.

Mark 14:27
And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.

Jesus explained it bluntly to Pilot.

John 19:11
Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

Still believe God the Father smote Jesus Christ? And scattered the church? That He gave the laws and statutes He knew you could not obey fully? Are you still in the same condition Daniel wrote of about the mental state of Israel, who could not discern the true face of God, the Father.

Daniel 9:7
O LORD, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.

Isaiah also said others had had rule over Israel. He knew the Darkness and his angels, the watchers were overlording the earth. But he knew who he was talking of when he spoke of God. And that we have all failed in the commision given to Israel, to open the book of life. God did it Himself, for us. He took the book of life from the right hand of him that sat on the throne.[rememeber, "If thy right hand offend thee, cut it off and cast it from thee"]

Isaiah 26:13O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.

14They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.

15Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.

16LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.

17Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.

18We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

And consider what is being explained below...

Wisdom of Solomon (Apocrypha), chapter 1

12: Seek not death in the error of your life: and pull not upon yourselves destruction with the works of your hands.
13: For God made not death: neither hath he pleasure in the destruction of the living.
14: For he created all things, that they might have their being: and the generations of the world were healthful; and there is no poison of destruction in them, nor the kingdom of death upon the earth:
15: (For righteousness is immortal:)
16: But ungodly men with their works and words called it ('it' being death) to them: for when they thought to have it their friend, they consumed to nought, and made a covenant with it ('it' once again being death itself), because they are worthy to take part with it.

1 Timothy 1
9Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

10For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

1 John 2:11
But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

Galatians 3:
10For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

2 Corinthians 3

5Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

6Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

7But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

8How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

9For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

10For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

11For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

12Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

13And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

14But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

15But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

16Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

John 8
24I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Romans 8:28-30 (King James Version)
28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified

And what of those who hear of Christ, hear of his goodness, and the hope in him...yet still speak acrimonious things against him? What of those who outright hate Christ Jesus? What did Jesus say of these?

John 8:41-43 (King James Version)
41Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

42Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over the whole earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth on the earth.

I propose the word 'God' in the above scripture is/was plural in conotation, and the translators either disagree with my theory, or failed to comprehend this notion, or simply obfuscated this idea....It is my understanding that the image of heavenly can either be that of light or darkness (a very consistent dichotic theme that runs throughout scripture so prevelant and diaphanous, yet so obscured and complex to understand...a paradox... yes?)

1 Corinthians 15 (Darby Translation)

45Thus also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul; the last Adam a quickening spirit.

46But that which is spiritual [was] not first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual:

47the first man out of [the] earth, made of dust; the second man, out of heaven.

48Such as he made of dust, such also those made of dust; and such as the heavenly [one], such also the heavenly [ones].

49And as we have borne the image of the [one] made of dust, we shall bear also the image of the heavenly [one].

(We, in the scripture 49, is 'the church' or those who believe in Christ...not every homosapien carte blanche!)

50But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God's kingdom, nor does corruption inherit incorruptibility.

Jesus Christ is the FIRST creation of the God of Spirits, I propose the God of Flesh created the body of the first man...Adam....thus as in Adam (the flesh), all die, yet in Christ (If you be in Christ), all shall be made alive. A great misunderstanding prevails throughtout christiandom, especially among the ardent followers of Universalism and I give it to you now; they see all being in Christ, this is faulty and not to their blame, let me explain. As in Adam, all die (and this is self-evident, for all born of water...or flesh...or from adam....do die, as do all those who also come from Eve, the mother of all), so....too....all IN CHRIST shall be made to inherit eternal life! But you must be in Christ, and to be IN christ...you must believe in him and LOVE HIM!

There is the slippery slope of assumptions that many go on, they assume all are IN CHRIST! What are the fruits of those in Christ Jesus I ask you? How can anyone assume every flesh and blood two legged animal (we call homosapiens), is In christ? Show me his fruits, and we shall (if Christ be in us), be able to rightly discern what spirit he is in. Many are IN the Darkness. Consider how we once were IN DARKNESS....and by the grace of God have been awakened and pulled INTO the LIGHT which is CHRIST!

John 8
21Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.

22Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.

23And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

24I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

IF you believe not in Christ Jesus, you shall die in your sins. THIS IS NO JOKE. THIS IS LIFE OR DEATH ETERNAL ON THE LINE, and all one must do is ackowledge that we ourselves can do nothing pure, nothing good, nothing that merits eternal life. Only faith in Christ Jesus will do...so simple...yet so difficult for so many....a paradox...yes?

And what of the two spirits (Darkness and Light), that created man? The two halves of POWER, that created man in their image? Is there any proof to this theory that there are are two spirits in man?

Luke 9:55
But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

Ephesians 6:12
because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against principalities, against authorities, against the universal lords of this darkness, against spiritual [power] of wickedness in the heavenlies.

1 John 4:3
and every spirit which does not confess Jesus Christ come in flesh is not of God: and this is that [power] of the antichrist, [of] which ye have heard that it comes, and now it is already in the world.

And we may have once been dead...IN DARKNESS.....yet....by the grace of God we now are In Christ...if we continue believing in that precious and most wonderful one...Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2
1and *you*, being dead in your offences and sins --

2in which ye once walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience:

3among whom *we* also all once had our conversation in the lusts of our flesh, doing what the flesh and the thoughts willed to do, and were children, by nature, of wrath, even as the rest:

4but God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love wherewith he loved us,

5(we too being dead in offences,) has quickened us with the Christ, (ye are saved by grace,)

6and has raised [us] up together, and has made [us] sit down together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,

7that he might display in the coming ages the surpassing riches of his grace in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus.

8For ye are saved by grace, through faith; and this not of yourselves; it is God's gift:

9not on the principle of works, that no one might boast.

10For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has before prepared that we should walk in them.

11Wherefore remember that *ye*, once nations in [the] flesh, who [are] called uncircumcision by that called circumcision in [the] flesh done with the hand;

12that ye were at that time without Christ, aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

13but now in Christ Jesus *ye* who once were afar off are become nigh by the blood of the Christ.

14For *he* is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of enclosure,

15having annulled the enmity in his flesh, the law of commandments in ordinances, that he might form the two in himself into one new man, making peace;

16and might reconcile both in one body to God by the cross, having by it slain the enmity;

17and, coming, he has preached the glad tidings of peace to you who [were] afar off, and [the glad tidings of] peace to those [who were] nigh.

18For through him we have both access by one Spirit to the Father.

19So then ye are no longer strangers and foreigners, but ye are fellow-citizens of the saints, and of the household of God,

20being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the corner-stone,

21in whom all [the] building fitted together increases to a holy temple in the Lord;

22in whom *ye* also are built together for a habitation of God in [the] Spirit.

Ephesians 5
1Be ye therefore imitators of God, as beloved children,

2and walk in love, even as the Christ loved us, and delivered himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour.

3But fornication and all uncleanness or unbridled lust, let it not be even named among you, as it becomes saints;

4and filthiness and foolish talking, or jesting, which are not convenient; but rather thanksgiving.

5For this ye are [well] informed of, knowing that no fornicator, or unclean person, or person of unbridled lust, who is an idolater, has inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and God.

6Let no one deceive you with vain words, for on account of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

7Be not ye therefore fellow-partakers with them;

8for ye were once darkness, but now light in [the] Lord; walk as children of light,

9(for the fruit of the light [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth,)

10proving what is agreeable to the Lord;

11and do not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather also reprove [them],

12for the things that are done by them in secret it is shameful even to say.

13But all things having their true character exposed by the light are made manifest; for that which makes everything manifest is light.

14Wherefore he says, Wake up, [thou] that sleepest, and arise up from among the dead, and the Christ shall shine upon thee.

15See therefore how ye walk carefully, not as unwise but as wise,

16redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

17For this reason be not foolish, but understanding what [is] the will of the Lord.

18And be not drunk with wine, in which is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit,

19speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and chanting with your heart to the Lord;

20giving thanks at all times for all things to him [who is] God and [the] Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

21submitting yourselves to one another in [the] fear of Christ.

22Wives, [submit yourselves] to your own husbands, as to the Lord,

23for a husband is head of the wife, as also the Christ [is] head of the assembly. *He* [is] Saviour of the body.

24But even as the assembly is subjected to the Christ, so also wives to their own husbands in everything.

25Husbands, love your own wives, even as the Christ also loved the assembly, and has delivered himself up for it,

26in order that he might sanctify it, purifying [it] by the washing of water by [the] word,

27that *he* might present the assembly to himself glorious, having no spot, or wrinkle, or any of such things; but that it might be holy and blameless.

28So ought men also to love their own wives as their own bodies: he that loves his own wife loves himself.

29For no one has ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as also the Christ the assembly:

30for we are members of his body; [we are of his flesh, and of his bones.]

31Because of this a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be united to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh.

32This mystery is great, but *I* speak as to Christ, and as to the assembly.

33But *ye* also, every one of you, let each so love his own wife as himself; but as to the wife [I speak] that she may fear the husband.

And for those who deny Christ, and curse his name...and to all those Orthodox Jews...who curse his name...and spew all sorts of acrimonious phrases towards that most precious one.....or anyone who says hard things against my god, Jesus Christ...this is for you....repent and find life, else you will die in your sins.

1 John 2:22
Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? *He* is the antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
