Well John,
In many ways animals are gifted in ways that man is not or may have been but for the most part has lost, the animals are closer to nature and often do prophesy in the natural way given to them of the approach of earthquakes, volcanic activity, huricanes, cyclones, tornadoes, tsunamis formerly called tidal waves and severe droughts, harsh winters, also some animals and birds can sense when a human being is ill, diseased or near death or is in danger of a natural harm.
Look at the vultures that fly right past a fresh healthy man starting his journey accross a desert and they pay no notice of him unless weakness, fatigue, lack of water and death begins to approach, then and only then do the pay any attention to the man to watch and wait and see when and if he might secumb to death and not before, they are scavangers just doing the job God made them for, if a relief party finds the man and revives his strength the vultures simply fly away in search of other dying prey.
Yes, I see that animals are also groaning along with all of creation.
Peace,
Fire Walker
