What people call jews were the pharisees. A religious system of belief [Talmud, tradition of the Rabbis] brought back from Babylon. The word jew was not used till the middle ages. Slicked in by men in the place of Judean, making Jesus and the diciples as well as all others from Judea jews. The common person was not a pharisee, or, jew.

Do you think that Abraham was a jew, as most christians and jews of today do? ThatJesus was a jew? His diciples were jews?[pharisees]

(which makes it clear that Christ was addressing the Jews.)

I think that about sums it up about the credibility of Jews. Pure evil incarnate.

Paul had this to say.

1 Corinthians 9:20
And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

seems like the Jews and Israelites were two different groups then..Jesus was raised in some tradition of the prophets however bc he quotes the law etc

yes the Pharisees were indeed a rather satanic cowd !! And now the idiot evangelicals call them Gods Chosen instead of Satan's Children!

Israels Twelve tribes with a portion of levites in each tribe were united in ONE Kingdom through King David and King Solomon after that great political and religious division divided Israel into two kingdoms, (two sticks)

Peacetroll is right the word Jew was not used during Abrahams years or during the years of Moses , Judeans possibly, yet many point to the Word Jew as being derived from the genitive word Judah, I have not studied very much in that area.

One thing that appears in scripture is that Jesus walked in Galilee to get away from Jewry after a certain point during his last physical years in the world because he didn't choose to walk amoung Jewry any longer as the Jews sought to kill him.

The problem is NOW those who call themselves Jews are barely related to the Judeans or the Israelites..
The Khazars have become the Ashkenazim Jews of today who dominate Jewry economically and socially..The Rothschilds, Einstein, Sumner Redstone (Rothstein) etc. all European Jews are all Ashkenazim Jews .. they converted to Judaism in the middle ages and are not blood kin to the Sephardi Jews who are blood kin to the original tribes..However after all these years Abraham's genes are spread out all over humanity so the blood connection is rather weak..The promises God supposedly made to Abe ((if that is to be believed)) would be very hard to trace to the Jews of today..For example do I get them to apply to me if I convert to Judaism?? If so, that's a good racket; I can go to a local synagogue and walk out one of Gods Chosen!!
