[quote="firstborn888"
But is it really much crazier than buying miracle spring water from some televagelist? Not that much IMO[/quote]
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Byron,
no, buying an orgone blaster from Sherry is no more in futility than buying holy water from the RCC clergy that has been blessed by the Pope to ward off evil Spirits, going to a medicine man to purchase a carved totem pole to ward off evil spirits or going to a carnival and paying some soothsaying fortune teller who advises how to ward off evil spirits, it is all religious hokus pokus of the now you see it now you don't game.
Many things like this were done in the superstitions held by the religious during OT times and certainly is nothing new to the world which in many ways still practices much of the traditions, rituals and ceremonies handed down from the forefathers.

Am thinking about buying this book Jahovah unmasked
after someone here who has read it posts what they received in reading it weather I would be moved then to buy and read it or not, if they were greatly let down in obtaining any insight into this subject about Jahovah from the book then in most likelyhood I would not take the time or money to buy and read it.
Peace,
Fire Walker

Same here. Never in my wildest dreams.

You know, I've been looking more closely into the orgone blaster. Maybe it can cure baldness?

Byron,
We don't want to set our expectations on this orgone
blaster to low on just one wish now do we? if it can fullfil one wish it can fullfil them all, get rich, stay physicaly young forever with a body as willing and able as the spirit and never grow old and gray.
Personaly I am tempted to buy a flying carpet, a magic lamp and a peace pipe for dreaming which might get more mileage than an orgone blaster, haven't made up my mind yet though, I am waiting to see what Pat Robertson and John Hagee have to say regarding such evil, if I don't agree with what they say then I suppose I'll just have to wait and see and do what the Pope says.
Peace,
Fire Walker

omgosh that made me do a deep belly laugh!
I would love the flying carpet, depending on the design of course, on whether or not it came with a matching outfit and if it came equipped with a doggy door and a bathroom!
And the peace pipe, well that sounds great but I prefer to drink things, smoking and snorting just are too unlady like for me !

FireWalker, Byron and Juli: You guys are a hoot! I love it! I think you could really have a future in standup comedy, if you weren’t so dang religious!
(Ah, no hate mail please sports fans, - already too much of that from the Hagee cowrd – Just Kiddin’about the religious part! )
PS: Happy Easter!

Quote: LoT you seem to have a hangup with the gnostic angle. IMO he is merely aligning his thoughts with another boxed POV or IOW a label of sorts.
There are parts of Gnositcism I agree with. What I dont agree with is that another God created the earth and its bad. It gets back to escapism in the form or suffering or whatever....
I believe the true God created it and called it Good.... Its the knowledge of Good and Evil that cause our conscience to go nuts, give blood sacrifices, feel seperated from God etc.....
Not the other way around - that the knowledge of Good and Evil is the way to life... IMO
But I do agree that life comes from a PERSONAL relationship.

I just received Jehovah Unmasked and started reading it. The author has helped many of the pieces of the Genesis puzzle together for me. The two creation accounts, the disruption in the story about God bringing animals to Adam to name and claim always bothered me. So much of Genesis is illogical, immoral and just plain against decency for me to take it literally.
But, I am having trouble see it as an allegory since I've been told my whole life that everything in Gen. happened just as it says. More study and digging, hopefully, will help me to come to terms with this problem.

I am almost finished with the book, LOT, and it is wonderful!! Thanks for recommending it as I probably wouldn't have heard of it if I hadn't seen it on your thread.
I especially like the way Nathaniel compares what Jesus says to what Jehovah god says, such as in Isaiah where JG says he forms light and creates darkenss and James 1:17 says there's no darkness in God. I clearly see two gods and since there are two gods, their statements are opposed to each other. Let God be true and every man (and god) be a liar.)
