Wishing a Happy New Years to come in for all of you here at "Fathers Love" discussion forums and hope your Christmas was spiritual, heartfilled and joyful as you shared with others and hope it wasn't too commercialized by all of the advertisements we get bombarded with every year.
Often, as for me at the Christmas season and as I have went on up in years, now I find I am in a place of fond and good memories of others who were in my life that have at some point in previous years departed this life and also the good memories of all that has been shared with others in my life who are still here, it is a very spiritual
thing and more so every passing year with me. This year
on the 20th of December it was cold and the snow was flying outside and we lost or big loveable
tom cat as he died in his sleep on that Saturday morning, he was very close to me and he always followed me around more like a dog than most cats do when I worked outside on the place, we had him with us for almost ten years so the wife and I both feel a big empty place for awhile through this Christmas season, what saved us from too much sorrow is that we have another female cat for 11 years now and she is missing her other cat pretty much by now, she keeps looking for him for over a week now, just like with us though it takes time to heal the hurt.
The Thankful part is 5 children, 4 Sons, 1 daughter all are doing well, and too many grandchildren to count, the grandkids also miss the cat too when they come to visit.
